Tony Bua is a former American football player who played as a linebacker for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks from 2000 to 2003. He was born on March 18, 1981, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a two-time All-SEC first-team selection and All-American during his college career. Bua was known for his hard-hitting style of play, and he was also an effective pass-rusher, recording 13 sacks in his junior and senior seasons.
After his college career, Bua entered the NFL draft in 2004 and was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round. He played for the Dolphins and the Carolina Panthers until 2007, recording 63 tackles, 3 sacks, and an interception during his NFL career. Bua now works as a high school football coach in Louisiana.
